First time to Philippines so had no idea of hotel standards. Pearl Garden turned out to be very good choice. Breakfasts were good and varied a bit each day. Front Desk, Restaurant and Security / front door staff always helpful. Handy location to shopping and nightlife. Even Lonely Planet travel book gives this place a big tick. Will stay here again.........

This was by far the better of two Manila hotels I stayed in (the other being Heritage). The room was spacious. The bathroom had a separate shower and bath tub. The complimentary breakfast included a reasonable range of foods; food tasted good. Had great free wifi- worked well in both the room, the dining room and the lobby. Hotel has a nice little coffee shop attached. This was not the closest hotel to the airport but was still only a 20 minute drive away. Hotel is very close to Robinsons Mall- around 5 minutes by foot. It is also close to Intramuros. I will stay here again when I come to Manila.

As usual the staff at reception were helpful with a genuine smile. The catering staff on the 2nd floor at the restaurant were efficient and curtious, the Selection of foods on display were appetizing and of a good standard. There are usually about 1 staff member to each customer so you will never be left waiting for service, in fact usually 2 staff will attend your every needs, especially at the early part of service. The HEAD CHEF at breakfast also produces all hand made fresh breads for the service, of which she is extremly proud and I very gratful. My best regards to the Hotel for the pleasant stay.
